Disneyland Recap

We had an amazing trip to Disneyland last week. We left AZ Wednesday evening and got to the hotel about 10pm. We stayed at a beautiful hotel, The Grand Californian...it has entrances to California Adventure and Downtown Disney.

Thursday morning, we went to breakfast at Storyteller's. While sitting and waiting for Gianna, Kate, and Jeff to arrive we were startled by Koda, one of the bears from Brother Bear. He was standing right in between me and Chris and scared the crap out of Chris...it was HILARIOUS! We were then greeted by Kenai, another bear from Brother Bear. Gianna and her parents joined us right after Chirs got scared.

Here's a picture of Chris, Gianna, and Koda.

Here's a picture of Kenai and Chip. Gianna LOVES Chip and Dale from the "Rescue Strangers" as she calles them.

After breakfast we headed to Disneyland for a while and rode some rides. First stop, Nemo's Submarine Ride. Here's a photo of Gianna on the submarine with her new hat and sunglasses.

After spending a couple hours at Disneyland we went back to the hotel to change and get ready for the Princess Lunch that we were going to attend at Ariel's Grotto.

Gianna was a little timid at first when meeting the princesses. Here she is clinging to mom, Kate, before meeting Ariel.

And she wouldn't let Kate leave her side while taking pictures with Ariel.
We then sat for our lunch, before meeting the other 4 princesses that were there. This is Gianna getting excited to see Belle.

Here's Gianna with Belle.

This is Gianna excited to meet Princess Aurora, Sleeping Beauty. Could she be any more excited?! This is joy at it's finest!

She then met Snow White and Cinderella. Here's a picture of her with Cinderella.

Durring Gianna's meeting with Cinderella, she asked about Cinderella's "little mouse friends" and told Cinderella that her panties were stuck up her butt...it was so funny! Cinderella couldn't help but laugh.

Once lunch was complete, and she met all the other princesses, she opened up to take a picture with Ariel. Sorry it's blurry...

The Princess Lunch alone made the trip all worth while. It was so great to see her so happy. She was in heaven meeting all the princesses.

The rest of the day was spent between California Adventure and Disneyland. My camera died, so I didn't get many more pictures.

We spent Friday at the parks as well, taking Gianna on more rides.

The trip was wonderful, short, but wonderful. We left the park at 4:00pm Friday afternoon and came back to AZ - as Chris and I both had to work Saturday morning.
