Madelynne had her 4 month well check today. She checked out perfectly of course! She now weighs 16lbs 15oz and is 26 1/2 inches tall. She's in the 95th percentile for weight and height and in the 75-90% percentile for head size. She's a big girl! She had two shots and one oral vaccine today. She did great with the oral and the first shot...the second shot definitely hurt, but she only cried for a few minutes.
We get to start her on rice cereal now! Pictures to come soon!

4 Months
It's been almost 2 months since I last posted. A lot has happened!
In June we went and visited our friends, The Sandru's, out in Gilbert. They have two beautiful children, Joshua (4 years) and Elle (2 years). You might remember Joshua from my wedding...he was the ring bearor. The kids fell in love with Madelynne. They both couldn't stop looking at her and wanted to hold her all night. I didn't get pictures of sweet little Elle and Mady, but here's a picture of Joshua and Mady. She was so comfy in his little arms that she passed out right after this picture was taken. He is such a good little friend to Madelynne.

I was told the next day by his mom, Kimberly, that he woke up wanting to know if "Mady and Tiffany were still there" and asked when we would be coming back to visit.
Later that month we had a visitor - Chris's brother, Scott. Madelynne got to meet her uncle for the first time. It was great! I am so glad that he took some time to come out and visit to meet his little niece. Here's a picture of the two of them.

I missed my 3 month posting of Madelynne's Chair Picture so, here it is!

Madelynne also had a day where she wouldn't stop pooping...she pooped out of her diaper a number of times while we were out and about ruining 3 outfits...so I had no other choice to bring home my Hillbilly child....in only a diaper. She was so stinkin cute that I took this picture.

One of Mady's favorite things to do is take baths. Here is a picture of her in her little bathtub.

On July 3rd she went swimming for the first time. She didn't really like or dislike it. She was content in the water, but didn't have any expression to show us what she thought of it. I have video of her swimming at the Hanley house along with my parents - I'll figure out how to post video soon. We didn't take any still photos, silly us! I bought her this really cute pink bikini at Old Navy and a white floppy hat. She was ADORABLE!
She is getting so big and developing a little personality of her own. This Sunday marks 4 months since Madelynne's birth. She is now starting to roll over, blow spit bubbles (I believe she might be teething), talking (a lot), laughing, and figuring out her hands. Just last night, she was sitting in her jumperoo when she started turning one of the toys - I swear she was doing it intentionally! I got it on video! Again, I will figure out how to post it soon!
On Tuesday we go to the doctor for her 4 month well check. I can't wait to see how much she's grown - I believe she's over 15 pounds right now. I will definitely post on her progress along with her 4 month chair pictures.

2 Months!
Last Tuesday maked Madelynne's two month birthday! It's crazy to think that it's been that long! We had her 2 month well check today and she measured in at 23 2/3 inches and 12lbs 14oz. She is in the 90th percentile for head circumference and weight and in the 95th percentile for height!
She's starting talk a bit! We purchased her a bouncy chair that she just loves! She sits in it, kicks her legs around and talks to the little fish up top! She loves to smile and talk to Mommy - which I can't get enough of! She also really likes looking at herself in the mirror - she doesn't take after me at all - haha!
I've got some video of her in her chair and looking at herself in the mirror, however I cannot figure out how to load them on here. I will be placing them on my facebook page!
Here are some cute photos of her from the past month...

What are you doing?
These pajamas remind us of a prison uniform - she's our little purple inmate!
Loving her swing
Now for the chair photos..
(I haven't printed up month numbers...so you'll just have to believe that it's the second month shot!)
Giving a little smirk!
I love her dimples in this one!

One Month!!
Wow! One month has already come and gone since giving birth to Madelynne. She has done a lot of sleeping, pooping, fussing, and being absolutely adorable! Since then, she has met a ton of new people! Her Grandma and Grandpa Suiter see her on a regular basis - which she loves! Aunt Shannon has visited quite a bit as well. She hasn't seen Uncle Greg in a while, as he has been sick. :( Her Grandma Ecklein flew out from Minnesota last weekend and met her for the first time. She did a lot of cuddling with Grandma while she was here for 3.5 days.
Last Saturday, Madelynne started smiling at me for the first time. I cannot express how cute she is when she's smiling! It makes my heart flutter - nothing is better! She's such a happy baby!
Today was her one month check-up. She weighs a whopping 10lbs 7oz and is 23.5 inches! She's gained 2 whole pounds since being discharged from the hospital!! Woo Hoo!!
Funny story - at the doctor today, after the nurse was finished taking her temperature (anal), she shot poop all over the room! The nurse and Chris both had to move out of the way of her stream. It was so funny! Chris was all dressed in his work attire - had he stood even 2 inches to the left of where he was standing, he would have gotten pooped on! She's got some powerful force!
Here are some pictures of Mady during her first month:
