Hello from your guest blogger today...Aunt Shannon! Chris and Tiffany will be in the hospital until sometime on Sunday so I wanted to update everyone while they are out of internet connectivity.
Madelynne Kay Ecklein was born yesterday, March 25, 2010 at 12:37pm. She thankfully weighed in smaller than expected, but still a big girl at 9.24 lbs and 22 1/2 inches long. Tiffany was amazing the whole morning looking beautiful and calm.
Chris was a little worried looking but he also did great supporting Tiffany through the c-section and bringing his daughter down to the nursery for all her check-ups.
Mady is eating well, not sleeping so much, and loving special time with her mom and dad. Tiffany and Chris are tired but overall doing really well.

You're a mommy!! I hope that your surgery went smoothly and that you're recovering well. Madelynne is a beautiful "little" girl. Now the fun begins!!
did you ever think you could be this tired??? seriously!!!
enjoy and ask any of us mommies if you need anything or if you need to complain- we have all been there now and we all need each other because it is really crazy hard to be a mom and you never know what you are in for until you are in it...
